  1. type in California Wills and Trusts in search line
  2. open up table of contents and look for  “Division II Wills” section, by selecting the ‘+’ button
  3. Then look for Subdivisin A -  “Subdivision A General Considerations”
  4. then expand and find Chapter 10 Introduction to Wills”
  5. then find Chapter 10.2  10.02 Nature and Characteristics of Will
  6. then open that up and copy first paragraph, starting with "a will is commonly defined... and ends with "are effective in limited circumstances
  7. then follow instructions below on how to email to your instructor
  8. also go and post the same information in your etudes assignment box
  9. good luck.

Make sure that you put your name and date and time in the lexis email to your instructor so they know who sent them the lexis work, and the date and time.

How to email the document/section:

  1. Go to the document/section you would like to email.
  2. On the upper right hand site you will see six icons (Fast Print, Print, Save, Email, Fax, Retrieve)
  3. The email icon is represented by an envelope
  4. Click the envelope, a new window titled “Email Documents” will pop-up.
  5. In the ‘To:’ Field enter your instructors email address of your instructor - see http://lamission.org for email of your instructor
  6. In the ‘Subject Line’ enter your full name as registered in the class  and you may then  ‘Add a brief note’ field. If you wish
  7. make sure in the body of the text that you copy and paste and send to also include your name, the class, date and time 
  8. Leave the remaining options as is.
  9. Click send – Your instructor will receive an email with your account name and the research you have done. Great Job!
