combine two different sections

Really nice job. 99.9% there.

The only issue is the CAOT 84 and 85. When you need to combined 'linked'
courses (two difference courses, as opposed two sections of the SAME
course), you use the same process, but you have to decide that one of the
two courses will get the site and the other will be loaded into it. The
below lines that you had...

LAMC CAO 084 JWOOD SP13	00713629	LFN	Woodmansee	Joyce
woodmajw@lamission.edu	instructor	E	7010	00713629
LAMC CAO 086 JWOOD SP13	00713629	LFN	Woodmansee	Joyce
woodmajw@lamission.edu	instructor	E	7011	00713629

Would create TWO sites, not one that you want (if I understood you right).

The above two lines that you had would create these two sites in Etudes:

LAMC CAO 084 JWOOD SP13, and
LAMC CAO 086 JWOOD SP13

What you want is this (will create just one site - notice the site is the
same in both rows):

LAMC CAO 084 JWOOD SP13	00713629	LFN	Woodmansee	Joyce
woodmajw@lamission.edu	instructor	E	7010	00713629
LAMC CAO 084 JWOOD SP13	00713629	LFN	Woodmansee	Joyce
woodmajw@lamission.edu	instructor	E	7011	00713629

The section fields tell Etudes which rosters to load in the site.

There won't be confusion for students, as on their nav tabs, they will see
just one CAO class to go to. They don't pay attention to numbers anyway, and
the instructor can announce that 84 and 86 will have the same Etudes
classroom.

This is a rare use case, but the above is how you'd handle it, if Joyce
wants these two different courses / sections together.

As for email addresses, if your IT folks can create a database for site
creation where they will store the employee ids for trained Etudes faculty,
then it would be IDEAL if they could add the email addresses that faculty
gave for themselves when they registered for the training. To me, this tells
us that this is their preferred email address that they check more often.

Hope this helps. Give it another try. The third try is the charm (plus, I
gave you the answer for Joyce). Plug the right email addresses in.

Bye now!
Vivie
