Add Process

Please use the following format in your request to add your law classes:

subject line of your email: Please add me to your law classes for Fall 2015

body of your email:
your name
your email address
your Student ID

date of birth 
name of class
section number - check for your section here 
Fall 2015 Law Classes

Please follow these steps to get added to your online class

1. On or after 8-20-15 email Prof J. a request to add the class - include your name, email address, student ID, month and day of birth, name of class and section number. (Your add request will not be processed if you do not include all of the information required). If your email you use is not the same as the one registered under the Student Information System, then you will have to update your email- http://abogado.pbworks.com/update-SIS

Your request to add must be sent from the same email that is registered with your student information system. A number of students have no email listed under the Student Information System. So please do update or add your current email (follow the above steps), and email your request from the same email as registered with the SIS.

2. Prof J. will forward your request to add to Admissions who will add you to the class (as long as you have no holds on your account -i.e. past due fees or costs owed to Mission or other LACCD colleges.)

3. Once Admissions adds you to class, they will send a confirming email to you and to Prof J.

4. Go to your Student Information System and verify that you have been added to the class.

5. Once you have been added to the class, it will take between 24-48 hours for you to be uploaded into the etudes course management system directly from the college student information system. The earliest you can login to your etudes class is Sunday, 8/23/15 @ 8 am

Once you are added to etudes, you can then login to get started with your classwork.    

13. While you are waiting to be added to class, carefully read the welcome message and go to http://lamission.org to find your syllabus and activities and textbooks, and first chapters of your textbook to start reading.
