Yes I am doing a class right now on "How to Teach Online". We are underway but it is not too late to join us and yes the student will actually get a grade (Pass/Fail) for this class. I could make a certificate indicating that they pass the class to satisify your requirement.

 

A word about the class - we use Moodle and the students will be proficient enough to create the key elements of a class web site, but the focus of the class is on How to Teach an Online Class. We go into Pedegogy and Online Class Management, while we have students acutally build the first few weeks of their course web sites.

 

It is not too late to join the class, we are already underway with 30 students. We are in our first week of class and have some assignments that are due this Sunday.

 

 

They will need to:

 

    * · You must contact admission ASAP via telephone an arrange to add the class via email and pay your fees.

          o  Get signed into the class and find your way around.

          o · Set up your account in the LASC Moodle site. Go to

          o http://online.lasc.edu and then find the link at the top right that Set Up Your Account and follow the directions.  After you login, enroll yourself in a course you will find near the bottom of the list in a category called Staff Development
