 Day 1  Thursday:

Assistance at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Athens. Rest of day at leisure. Overnight.

Day 2 Friday:  Athens - Morning Tour / Afternoon Cruising

Morning city tour of Athens including the highlights of this city, one of the most ancient cities in the world and the famed Acropolis and its museum. Tour the Parthenon, Erectheum, Propylea an temple of the Wingless Victory.  Return to the hotel at 12:30pm.  After lunch, transfer to Athens port of Piraeus for embarkation on your luxury ship sailing at 7:00pm.  Enjoy your first dinner on board cruising.

 

Day 3  Saturday:  Cruising - Istanbul

At 6:00am, the ship arrives in the exotic city of Istanbul, the crossroad between Europe and Asia, the place of fabulous palaces, churches, mosques and minarets.  

Full board

 

Day 4  Sunday:  Istanbul - Cruising

Enjoy the optional excursion visiting the beautiful blue Mosque, Topkapi palace, the exquisite Ste Sophia and shop in the famous Grand bazaar.  The ship departs at 6:00pm for Kusadasi.  Full board

 

Day 5  Monday:  Cruising - Mykonos

At 3:00pm arrival in Mykonos, widely known as the Greek St. Tropez. White and glistering scattered with windmills and churches. The ship sets sails at midnight for Patmos. Full board

 

Day 6  Tuesday:  Cruising - Patmos - Kusadasi.

At 7:00am, arrival in Patmos, a calm island known as the site where St. John wrote the Revelation.  Visit the 11th century monastery, which crowns the island.  Sail at 11:00am.  Arrival in Kusadasi, a popular Turkish resort with a rich and varied past. Visit Epheseus, an ancient Greek city founded in the 8th century B.C. Ship departs at 8:30pm to Rhodes. Full board.

 

Day 7  Wednesday:  Cruising - Rhodes

At 9:00am, arrival in Rhodes, legendary home of the sun god Apollo and one of the loveliest Greek islands.  you can visit Lindos, famous for its Acropolis, which boasts a spectacular view of the St Paul's Bay.  In the old town of Rhodes, visit the Grand Master's Palace and the street of knights.  Sail again at 6:00pm.

 

Day 8  Thursday:  Cruising - Heraklion - Santorini

Arrival 7:00am in the harbor of Heraklion in Crete, the largest Greek island where you can visit the Minoan Palace of Knossos and the famous archaeological museum of Heraklion.  

The ship will set sails again at 11:30am with a 4:30pm arrival in Santorini.  Go ashore and take a donkey ride or the cable car up to the town of Fira to enjoy the spectacular view.  Santorini is an island of white washed houses and stiff cliffs shaped by the volcano that formed it.  The ship sails at 8:30pm.  Full board.

 

Day 9  Friday:  Cruising - Piraeus - Athens - Departure

The ship enters the port of  Piraeus at 6:00am. After breakfast you can disembark

and transfer to the airport

Day 2 Saturday:  Athens Morning Sightseeing

Drive through the city's main streets past the memorial of the Unknown Soldier, Royal palace with the Evzones guards, Panathenian Stadium, and the temple of Zeus to Acropolis.  Tour the Parthenon, Erectheum, Propylea and temple of the Wingless Victory.  Return to the hotel at 1:00pm.  Remainder of day at leisure.

 

Day 3 Sunday:  Athens-visit of Delphi (optional).

Morning Departure. Drive through Thebes, Levadia and Arakhova.  Arrive in Delphi, the center of the Ancient world.  Visit the Temple of Apollo, the Theater, the Castalia Spring and the museum, containing such masterpieces of ancient Greek sculpture as the Bronze Charioteer.  After lunch, return to Athens at 7:00pm, via the picturesque village of Arachova. (Price for this optional Delphi excursion: US$ or Euro * 116 per person with lunch)

 

Day 4 Monday:  Cruising - Mykonos:

Morning transfer to the port of Piraeus and embarkation on your luxury ship, sail at 11:30am.  Arrival in Mykonos, widely known as the Greek St. Tropez.  White and glistering scattered with windmills and 365 churches.  The ship arrives at 6:00pm and sets sail again at 10:00pm.  Full board.

Day 5  Tuesday:  Cruising - Kusadasi/Patmos:

At 7:00am arrival in Kusadasi, a popular Turkish resort with a rich and varied past.  Visit Ephesus, an ancient Greek city founded in the 8th century BC almost the whole city has been intact excavated.

At 3:30pm, arrival in Patmos, a calm island known as the site where St. John wrote the Revelation.  Visit the 11th century monastery, which crowns the island.  Full board.

 

Day 6  Wednesday:  Cruising - Rhodes
