Without further ado, I present the Fall 2006 timeline.
This timeline assumes that college is starting Tuesday September
5th. If your college starts at a different time, please let me know.
Key dates:
Today: start getting in your Fall 2006 course requests if you
haven't done so already.
Wednesday, August 16th: auto-importation turned on, giving you and
the instructors two weeks to report missing sections and importation
problems.
Monday, August 21st: Last day to get in on-time course requests.
Late requests may not be ready for September 5th. I would also
*highly* recommend getting all your section updates to Kerrin by this
time.
Wednesday, August 30th: Last day to report missing sections/
importation problems. Late reports may not be ready for September 5th.
Again:
Aug 16: Auto-import turned on.
Aug 21: Course requests due.
August 30: Import issues and reports due
A couple of final notes:
- Unless you need to batch 10+ sections, please use the request forms
at http://foothillglobalaccess.org/etudes/shell_requests.htm for both
transfer and new shell requests.
- I will *not* be providing section reports for Fall - it's up to
you, Kerrin, and the instructors to figure out which sections are
missing. Again, insructors will have 10 business days (2 weeks) to
report missing sections or section import issues. It takes all of 3-5
minutes for instructors to check their courses. Instructors who fail
to do so risk making students wait up to 4 days to get into their
courses.
- Please do *not* send NG requests to me - these still go to Vivie
Sinou (SinouVivie@foothill.edu)
Questions, comments, concerns always welcome.
