My projected timeline is:

Galley #1 to Dept Chairs by December 22 and due back to me by January 17.

Galley #1 is for Time and Room Changes.

Galley #2 to Dept Chairs February 1 and due back February 15.

Galley #2 is for Staff changes and Room Changes (if available).

Camera Ready/Final Draft to Dept Chairs March 1 and due back March 13.

Staff changes ONLY.

72 hour faculty posting March 21.

Minor changes ONLY.

Important dates for the Fall 2017 semester include:

Fall 2017 Schedule of Classes available online Wednesday, April 12

First day of Priority Registration Monday, May 1

Subject: Fall 2017 Galley email

I am preparing Galley #1 for the Fall 2017 semester. I am hoping to have it out before we break for winter. This will be the first schedule that is being done through PeopleSoft and I wanted to allow time for the chairs, myself, and the graphic designer to get acquainted with the new format.

In an effort to capture the faculty before they’re “offline” for the winter, I wanted to know if the department deans can ask their department chairs to notify the faculty before the winter break to check their email over the winter session for informal offers. Responses from faculty offers would help when it comes down to the galley timeline listed below. Otherwise, faculty return for the first day of the Spring 2017 semester on February 6.

I will be finalizing a draft of the timeline, as well as timeblocks that will be emailed to the chairs with the Galleys.

Please note: The Summer 2017 galleys will go out in February, in the Protocol format.
