Hi Paul and David,

Great to hear from you!  Thank you for the follow up.  I am currently in Atlanta doing some recruitment for the week.  I will be in touch with Nancy later today and we will make sure to send out an email regarding the telecon.  I am looking forward to it too!

Best regards,

Hi Nancy and Kelly,
David and I wanted to follow up from our meeting of a couple of weeks ago.  We've tried to identify focals and their emails at the So Cal institutions.  Here is the list:

LA City College
Wilhelm Vargas
vargaswi@lacitycollege.edu

Rio Hondo College
Rudy Santacruz
lawschool@riohondo.edu

Santa Ana College
Kristen Robinson
robinson_kristen@sac.edu

College of the Canyons
Patti Haley
patti.haley@canyons.edu

Antelope Valley College
Rosa Fuller
rfuller@avc.edu

Loyola Marymount Univ
Janie Steckenrider
Jstecken@lmu.edu

USC
Vannda Hawkins
vhawkins@usc.edu

USC Law
Malissa Barnwell-Scott
mbarnwell@law.usc.edu

We couldn't find contact info for focals at Mt. Sac College, Irvine undergrad or Irvine law.  David is still looking.  But we thought it was important to get an email sent to these folks inviting them to the telecon.  David and I thought that perhaps this first telecon should just be that:  a conference call, not a webex.  And just an hour, not 1 1/2 hours.  Let's still set it for Wed Nov 18 from 12-1pm.  No need for a pre call the week before.

As for an agenda, it's all about introducing ourselves over the phone, going "around the room" and perhaps sharing the 1 major success and 1 major challenge each school faced last year.  If we have about 10 institutions represented on the phone, that will take about 50 minutes, with the last 10 minutes reserved for sharing upcoming events of common interest, whether we'd like to institutionalize this type of forum for us to share best practices, etc.

If you could get an email out to the folks above reserving the time slot for the call with a call-in number, that would be great.  Looking forward to it.

Paul and David
