Exciting Keynotes:
John Lester - (Pathfinder Linden), Operations Director at Linden Lab's new Boston-area office. (the creators of Second Life) He is also the Academic Program Manager, leading the company's efforts to support educators and acting as an evangelist for teaching, academic research, and scientific visualization in Second Life. Educational institutions can use the Second Life Grid to create a safe environment to enhance experiential learning, allowing individuals to practice skills, try new ideas, and learn from their mistakes. Prepare your students or employees for real-world experiences by using Second Life as a simulation!
Hall Davidson - Director, Discovery Educator Network, a new division of Discovery Communications focused on moving into the world of channel-less video-on-demand. Before coming to Discovery, he served for 15 years as director of educational services at KOCE-TV, a PBS station in Orange County, California. The panel will offer insight into components that are being implemented in California Community Colleges.

Spotlight Session - Tuesday, March 24
Topic - Teaching Spectacularly with Cell Phones
Mobile is the next wave. Cell phones are used to text, video, take assignments, document work, translate, podcast, and interface with Web 2.0. Teachers and students carry them already; learn how we can adapt to achieve educational goals.
