here are the legal search engines we use in our program for legal research and writing and to find cases in any of your classes.
you can use them to find the law case in one of your assignments. Read information on Legal Research.
Law 17-34 papers: Make sure your papers include at least five (5) court cases (judicial opinions). Doing a social science opinion paper - "I believe ... because" supported by wikipedia information is NOT acceptable. You will need to use the legal search engines to find cases. Read case citations.

1. Students must sign up for the service, and obtain a username and passcode. The service is free as long as your are currently enrolled in a Paralegal Law Class in our program.
2.Go to your online moodle classroom and check under Class News - the access code will be posted there at the beginning of every semester for students who are enrolled in the class.
3. The sign up for a Lois Law legal research account at - https://ecom.loislaw.com/freetrial/index.htp?target=lawschool/student.htm?linkid=home_register
4. You will receive an email confirmation from Lois Law, and then be able to proceed with your legal research
If you did not receive an Access Code from Prof. J then email him your name and the class you are registered for and the semester and he will send you an access code. his email is abogado@pacbell.net
