Description: Would you like to obtain an Internet Briefcase, learn how to use it, and understand why they are useful to online, hybrid, and face-to-face students in storing and organizing files?

Abstract: This hands-on training session involves a brief PowerPoint presentation (with a handout) that explains what an Internet Briefcase is, how to obtain one, and its benefits. Then, all attendees will obtain their own Internet Briefcases free online, and attendees will organize their folders within their Internet Briefcases. Finally, attendees will upload to and download from their Internet Briefcases to gain experience with this Internet tool. By the end of this session, attendees will have enough information and experience to introduce Internet Briefcases to their online, hybrid, or face-to-face students. More importantly, attendees will understand how Internet Briefcases narrow the digital divide, particularly among disadvantaged communities.
