Describe how express and implied agency relationships are formed, identify the duties and liabilities existing between principal and agent and to third parties, and explain  how an agency relationship is terminated. 

Explain and evaluate the basic legal structures of sole proprietorships, general and limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships, and corporations; and identify for each format the fiduciary duties, legal responsibilities, and liabilitiesto both those within the enterprise and to third parties.

Identify the requirements of valid negotiable instruments, manner of transfer, the legal position of a holder in due course, defenses, and discharge.

Explain the difference between personal and real property, how ownership is acquired, and the legal duties and liabilities of the bailor-bailee relationship.

Develop and apply basic legal vocabulary and terminology by reading and briefing cases.
